Man-made are they.
'Man-made Are They'
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
Thousands of terrorists hired,
Hired with arms and munitions,
To overrun the territories of Nigeria!
If in their favour the tide refused to turn,
Eventually in power they are,
Thousands of bandits and terrorists in Nigeria!
Terrorizing, maiming, and killing our people!
Unabating, almost on daily basis,
To the early grave are harmless people sent!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
The borders in the south-west are closed,
In favour of the gluttonous tribalistic businessmen,
Sugar, rice, cement, and flour,
All given to the tribal monopoly,
Few men and a number of people,
Holding the masses by the jugular!
Holding the common man to ransom!
Aggrandizing the wealth of the poor to themselves,
Making billions of dollars at the expense and to the detriment of Nigerians!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
Blessed is Nigeria, with the oil that is crude,
But to refine and make easy the lives of Nigerians,
Difficult as climbing Mount Everest without oxygen,
Is the ability of the state refineries,
To refine and distil to petrol and its brothers,
And the sons and daughters of the butcher,
Have to live on bone and hide of meat,
Selling the meat, but eating the bone!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
Blackouts all over the country,
To the gluttons past and present in power, could be traced the problem,
Sold to the businessmen the heritage of the common man!
Few hours of electricity for energy to have,
The generators of the businessmen you must have,
Ever promising, but never going to work,
Are the deceitful efforts of the ministry of power,
'Cause working, inimical, it is to the profits of the businessmen!
Generator and fuel importer's money must be made!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
Millions of youths restless and unemployed,
Ready tools in the hands of the sons of Satan,
These youths penniless, hungry, and hopeless!
Are employed by the politicians who made possible,
The vicious cycle of poverty and crime,
Which many youths, themselves have found,
Heavily armed, for the war of election for power,
Killing, kidnapping, and robbing people in towns and cities,
When election war abates!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
On radio and at times on the television,
Uncountable are they, the number of people,
Numbered among the missing and nowhere to be found!
Nowhere to be found, but somehow already known,
In the captivity of human butcher!
Slaughtered like cow and killed as goat,
For body parts and human blood!
Needed by the ritualist in high and low places,
Eaten and sucked by some cannibals in the country!
Man-made are they,
The numerous problems in Nigeria!
Already on the ground is the standard in Nigeria,
The standard by which education is metered!
When always and for sure are the shortcuts to results,
If and when ready the money and the means are at hand!
The universities truly to be, among the league have refused,
The ivy league so called, the higher institutions of learning,
And many graduates can not stand the tests,
For which their certificates truly deserve!
